Well, welcome October aka the Spooky Season! NCAA & NFL football season are underway and not disappointing with top ranked teams in both leagues seeing ghost! The start of Hockey (everyone looooves hockey) ask yourself will the country that created the sport be able to win the lord Stanley this year? Was done last in 1993... 32 years ago! Soon the NBA will be in full court press for ratings and the circus act of ballet will deliver the flopping worse than KINGHAP on ice skates. Full throttle with NASCAR season going down the backstretch. Is this the year Denny Hamlin wins the Cup Championship?! Or will he forever be known as the "Dan Marino" of the sport.
It is glorious sports month indeed, but it would not be right to not mention the owner of fall ball... the MLB Playoffs in full swing. Where are the torpedo bats!? Yup the Boston Red Sox failed to take down Taco's hated Evil Empire Yankees. We must move forward and get to take in the epic playoff battles ahead.
With the Cubs & Boston Pauls' home away from home team Brewers meeting in playoffs for first time ever. Yankees try and flex history (and overcome A. Boone) over recency against Blue Jays. Or is it Skubal's no run support Tigers up against a stellar Mariner's rotation and the switch hitting 60hr BIG DUMPER Cal Raleigh! Lastly froth on the Guinness, or do I say genius Danny Fuller's Dodgers battling the Wheeler-less Phillies in an epic showdown!
So while so much is going on, don't sleep on watching paint dry Baseball because its the Playoffs and history is in the making as the leaves begin to fall and the dreaded pumpkin spice forced on to us all.
